Position Title: Inventory Specialist Location - Ventura, CAReports to: Manager, Warehouse and Global LogisticsCompensation: 52 - 60K plus annual bonusAVITA Medical® is a therapeutic, acute wound care company leading the development and commercialization of devices and autologous cellular therapies for skin restoration. The ideal candidate is energetic with a positive attitude and detail oriented to support our manufacturing plant.Key Responsibilities:Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.Organize and maintain inventory and non-inventory items in the warehouse.Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.Update inventory records in the inventory management system.Coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders and manage stock levels.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory.Manage & maintain department metricsEvaluate inventory discrepancies and propose corrective action plans to minimize re-occurrencePerform other assigned duties by department manager or leadJob Requirements: 2 years' experience as inventory specialist is requiredFamiliarity with inventory management softwareExperience with barcode scanning systemsAbility to perform data analysis and identify trendsKnowledge of supply chain and logistics best practicesStrong organizational and time management skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to [25] lbs).Good communication and teamwork skills.Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suit (Excel, Word) - requiredExcellent organizational skills - requiredLean Sigma Training - preferredFamiliarity with PowerBI - preferredEEOC: Avita Medical is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
