TSG's team is passionate about payments and is focused on all aspects of the industry - from technology, operations, and M&A to competitive intelligence and analytics.Who we are looking for:TSG is in search of a Senior Business Development Representative to join its Revenue group which consists of the Customer Success team, Marketing team and Sales team. This is a full-time and onsite position based in Omaha Nebraska. As Senior Business Development Representative, you will interact directly with prospective customers or clients to sell TSGs products or services.You will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline. You will work closely with the sales team and senior leaders at TSG to ensure that company sales goals are met.Your main function is to be a problem solver, identifying potential clients and building relationships with those prospects.In this role, you will share product or service information with outside prospects and will need to be highly organized. We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a proven track record of success in sales. If you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for sales, we encourage you to apply.ResponsibilitiesIdentify potential customers, manage incoming sales requests and generate new business opportunities for the companyContact and qualify potential customers - Understand customer needs and requirementsPitch and sell products or services by establishing contact with potential clients and building positive relationshipsDeliver product demonstrations to customersNegotiate and close sales deals, meeting sales targetsMaintain customer relationships by providing support, gathering feedback, and conveying customer requirements to the product development teamsPrepare and submit sales reports to managementWorking closely with TSG marketing teams and Sales team SDR to identify new leads and understand sales opportunitiesStay up to date on market trends, competition, and industry developmentsEstablish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openingsCollaborate with sales teams by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to weekly meetingsTrack progress towards meeting sales goalsUse customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activitiesAttend networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leadsTravel to client sites/make prospect visits on an irregular basisProvide regular reports on sales activities and results to management.Requirements and skills5-10 years of experience in sales preferably in a market research, data and/or consulting payments related settingProficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and MS suite of productsExperience working with a SDR to identify sales opportunitiesExperience working with sales support team to develop out proposals and contractsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to build and maintain relationships with potential clientsKnowledge of sales techniques and strategiesStrong problem-solving and negotiation skillsTime management and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team memberFlexibility and adaptability to changeHave a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospectsBachelor's degree in business or related fieldDesirable ExperiencePayments industry experienceHighly Desirable ExperienceExperience selling market research, data and consulting services to the payments industry, banking industry or general fintech arenaExisting relationships in the payments industryWhat we offer - Employees at TSG are eligible to enjoy a wide range of benefits, which include:One Free Friday a month - who doesnt like a three-day weekend?Unlimited PTO Competitive salaries and annual bonusRetirement plan matchHealth, dental, and vision coverage are availableEntrepreneurial, dynamic, and collaborative environment with a casual dress code
