Director Project Control

Full time opportunity with our client, a word class Engineering and Consulting firm. As a Project Controls Manager, this candidate will be involved in a number of projects and project teams at the same time, at various stages of the projects' lifecycle, from inception through close-out, varying in complexity and value. This role will be onsite at a large scale pharmaceutical campus. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited *****Prepare monthly financial reportsReviews purchase order and subcontract commitments and expenditures; maintains tracking database to ensure that funding is aligned with work authorization and expendituresReview and advise on uncommitted balancesReview and advise on contingency balancesReview vendor invoices / applications for paymentLead the change control processProject financial close-outEvaluate productivity versus budget limitations including preparation of variance analysisCompares actual cost to funding limitations; prepares expenditure forecasts to identify critical points in project fundingConducts or assists in performance measurement and associated cost trending / forecastingParticipates in and may lead project cost review meetingsAssists in procedure development and implementationConduct periodic construction project site visits to monitor project progress and assure progress schedule integrity, and participate in regular progress schedule meetings with construction teamMinimum RequirementsBachelors degree with six (6) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education8-10 years relevant experiencePreferred QualificationsImpeccable verbal, written and numeracy skills in a client facing capacityAbility to work under own initiative and unsupervised, but also as part of a teamExperience of working in process manufacturing and/or bio-pharmaceutical industries; on-site experience is preferred but not requiredSolid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and TeamsKnowledge of construction scheduling using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft ProjectFamiliarity with business intelligence / reporting / dashboarding tools such as Power BI / Tableau
