CFO - Loan Accounting

CFO - $250K + BonusSmall growth company is targeting a CFO with loan accounting experience. Targeting someone with revenue recognition experience who can do it for a large pool of loans. Ideally small lending business experience with Merchant Cash Advance experience being a plus. Main Job duties and **Supervise accounting teamEstablish and Enforce Internal ControlsEnforce month-end close out and produce Monthly FinancialsPrepare financial statements (Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly)Prepare financial and management reporting, monthly accruals, and GL account analysisPerform monthly, quarterly and yearly projectionsProvide KPIs and metrics related to Loan Portfolio managementProvide Budget and financial Forecasts on a Weekly, monthly and yearly basis with variance (actual vs forecasted)Create, Monitor and enforce monthly budget by departmentOtherAssist with related accounting tasks and special projectsWork with outside auditors for year-end Audited Financials as requiredProtects organizations value by keeping information confidential.Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting dataDevelops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.In this role, youll be utilizing your technical accounting expertise to provide support **Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closingMonthly, Quarterly balance sheet and P & L Fluctuation AnalysisMonthly expense variance analysisAnnual budget preparationAssuring proper cut-offs are achievedEnsure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies
