Through e-commerce () and a retail store in New York City, Millesima USA offers a comprehensive selection of fine and rare wines, including the most sought-after French, Italian, and New World brands. We are looking for an energetic and personable Wine Retail Sales Associate who can guide customers with varying levels of knowledge at our new flagship Store in the Upper East Side. The ideal candidate will also be prepared to take on expanded responsibilities as opportunities present themselves.ResponsibilitiesAssist customers with purchasing advice tailored to each individual preferences and guide them through the world of fine wineAssist customers on the phone and process the ordersUtilize Millesima's Point of Sales system and procedures to enhance and ring up salesParticipate in store opening and store closing dutiesParticipate in industry tastings and weekly tastings with wholesalersHelp to set up in-store tastings and in-store eventsReplenish and maintain inventory and store visual presentationRequirementsSales experience in wine retail requiredPassion and enthusiasm for wine requiredDetail-oriented, customer service oriented and organized with the ability to multi-taskMust be comfortable with Microsoft Office.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekend shifts and some holidays if required.Be dependable, punctual and have strong communication skillsCandidate must be legally eligible for employment in the United StatesAbility to lift up to 50 pounds or utilize provided lifting equipment when necessaryPosition DetailsFull time on-site job.
