LHH is looking for a Sales Planning Analyst for a direct hire position in Charlotte, NC. The Sales Analyst will support the sales team by analyzing historical sales data and market trends. Using this data, the analyst will develop sales forecasts and strategies to enhance overall sales productivity. This role involves identifying and monitoring sales changes that could impact business competitiveness, and making recommendations based on these insights. Success in this position requires familiarity with products, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and knowledge of manufacturing/distribution environments. The role demands experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals, with a degree of creativity and independence.This position is fully in office Monday - Friday*****Develop and manage the annual sales budget.Prepare and present weekly sales reports for sales meetings.Analyze market price movements and manufacturing activities, including import and export inventories.Evaluate customer ordering patterns and sizes to provide recommendations to the sales team based on buying trends.Assist the global sales and marketing team by gathering relevant data and analyzing competitor and market conditions.Compile, consolidate, and generate monthly sales forecasts, summaries, and executive summaries for the head office.Support business decisions by tracking, evaluating, and reporting on opportunities and threats.Perform additional related duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelors Degree required2+ years of sales analysis experienceManufacturing or distribution experienceExperience utilizing Power BI for sales analysis and reportingAdvanced Excel skills including using VLOOKUPs & pivot tablesExcellent written and verbal communication skills
