Join a leading commercial insurance provider as an Implementation Business Systems Analyst! Key Responsibilities:Support Commercial and underwriting insurance applications as part of the Guidewire PolicyCenter team with IT Services.Strong analytical skills, analyze and translate business needs into function and technical specificationsAlign with design and architectural decisionsStrong communication skills, bridge the gap between the technical and non-technical stakeholdersEnsure understanding of project progress and outcomes.Supporting application and integration testing, implementation, and training activities throughout the process to ensure original requirements are met.Assist QA teams with creating and executing acceptance testing as needed.Attention to detail and maintaining alignment with design and architectural guidelines are critical.Collab with the team and business to translate requirements into technical specifications for application updates related to projects, enhancements, and compliance needs in Guidewire PolicyCenter, while working in an Agile Environment.Support the design, construction, and implementation of these updates to the applications.Energetic and skilled professionals who require min. supervision, ability to lead others, has experience working with actuaries, and will serve as the liaison between the Business and IT.Navigate the needs of the business, possess an in-depth understanding of the insurance industry and products, and effectively negotiate between the business requirements and system performance and integrity.Lead the analysis of business requirements and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteriaCoordinate and lead activities with product owners and gather requirementsDocument detailed functional and non-functional requirementsUtilize requirements management tools and techniques such as Use Cases, Data Matrix, Process Flow Diagrams and JIRA, etc.Support development, testing, implementation, and training activitiesApply agile methodology and Scrum, perform business analysis processes independently in accordance with Zurichs project management framework and risk policy.Provide subject matter expertise to the organizationSupport system test planning to ensure the test conditions, scripts, validation criteria, and expected results accurately test the business and non-functional requirementsCollaborate with business and technology leaders to identify and support process improvement opportunities, focusing on scalability, reusability, and supportability.Research and document current solutions to determine the best methods for integration or enhancement.Maintain effective work routines and individual accountability, advocating for business needs and continuous improvement to increase the value of solution delivery.Qualifications:Bach degree: Business Admin. Or Engineering OR Computer Science AND YOE 8+ in IT OR H.S.
