Production Supervisor

Position Description: Supervise 15-35 hourly UAW employees is all aspects of operation: Inbound, Outbound, Cross-Dock, Inventory. Deliver on objectives including, but not limited to: Safety Metrics, Quality Metrics, Inventory Accuracy, LPMH, Cycle Times, Vacation Scheduling, Absenteeism, LPMH, Process Adherence, Process Improvements Champion a strong UAW relationship while motivating and counseling UAW workforce as required Facilitate start-up meetings, effectively communicate with team members and document were applicable Champion and lead initiatives to achieve a best-in-class Redistribution Center through process improvements and process adherence Effectively and confidently communicate with all stakeholders of the operation Putting the customer first and striving to treat them as familySkills Required:High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 1 year leadership experience. Minimum 1 year work experience in similar positions. Demonstrated ability to actively listen, collaborate and problem solve with stakeholders. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations. Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communication skills. Working Knowledge of Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Experience Required:Previous UAW/Distribution/Logistics/Supply Chain supervisory experience preferred.
