HR Administrative AssistantAbout the Role:We are seeking a Human Resources Administrator to play a vital role in supporting HR functions while assisting with general administrative tasks as needed. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:✅ HR Support & ComplianceAssist with employee onboarding, including new hire paperwork, background checks, and benefits enrollment.Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.Support the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and assisting with job postings.Help facilitate performance review cycles and track employee training & development programs.Assist in managing HR documentation, including employee handbooks, policies, and compliance reports.✅ Payroll & Benefits AdministrationProcess payroll-related changes such as timekeeping updates, benefits deductions, and leave of absence tracking.Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.Assist with workers compensation claims and leave management.✅ Administrative & Office SupportManage employee files, HR correspondence, and confidential records.Provide administrative assistance to HR leadership, including scheduling meetings and preparing reports.Assist with office operations, employee engagement initiatives, and event planning.Support other departments with general administrative tasks as needed.Qualifications & Skills:2+ years of experience in an HR-related role, preferably within an administrative capacity.Working knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and best practices.Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and timekeeping/payroll systems.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with recruiting, benefits administration, payroll processing, or employee relations.Familiarity with state and federal labor laws.HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus but not required.Desired Skills and ExperienceThe Human resource / Administrative Assistant supports both administrative and human resources functions by managing employee records, updating employee handbooks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Outlook.
