The Billing Manager has overall responsibility for the Revenue Cycle, leads and plans the billing operations for Think Big Health Care Solutions team, responsible for establishing, designing, implementing, and enforcing billing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining and creating effective billing processes across multiple provider types, groups, and facilities in Wellington, FL. Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day functions of the billing department.Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes.Develop and implement quality assurance for all processes.Conduct routine staff meetings for the billing department.Assist in preparing financial and statistical reports as directed.Monitor accounts receivable by payor.Support the accounting month-end close process by ensuring that all payments have been posted, claims, submitted, and errors on claims resolved on the final day of each month.Oversee accuracy and completeness of data entry on all patient charges and refunds.Responsible for keeping in contact with payors as it relates to recurring denials requiring appeals for a large volume of claims.Follows standard billing procedures.Follows CPT and ICD-10 coding rules and guidelines.í˜ Deep understanding of the claim processes of commercial payers.í˜ Demonstrates proficiency in all required computer systems.í˜ Maintains work area and lobby in a neat, orderly manner.í˜ Has a good working knowledge of all office equipment needed to perform job functions.í˜ Practices universal precautions.í˜ Performs all other duties as assigned.QualificationsLicense/Certification: None requiredEducation: High School or equivalentExperience: Five years medical billing experience, equivalent education or combination of education and experience.
