Job Title: Litigation Manager/Paralegal - Litigation & Regulatory MattersLocation: Chicago, IL (Hybrid Position)We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Manager/Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This hybrid position offers a unique opportunity to work both remotely and in our Chicago office, supporting the firm's litigation and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and supporting complex litigation cases, as well as a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks.Key Responsibilities:Assist in managing all phases of litigation from case inception through trial and post-trial proceedings.Coordinate and manage discovery processes, including the collection, review, and production of documents.Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.Organize case files, maintain detailed records, and track case progress.Prepare exhibits, summaries, and reports for use in legal proceedings.Assist with regulatory compliance and investigations, including preparing filings and responses to government agencies.Conduct legal research on regulatory issues and assist in interpreting regulations, statutes, and policies.Coordinate with external regulatory bodies, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and deadlines.Communicate with clients, attorneys, and external parties, providing updates and responding to inquiries.Coordinate with opposing counsel, witnesses, experts, and other legal professionals as needed.Collaborate with attorneys, legal teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure case progress and legal strategies are aligned.Support and mentor junior paralegals or administrative staff, as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a legal or related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in litigation and regulatory matters.Strong understanding of litigation processes, regulatory frameworks, and compliance issues.Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with litigation management software a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.Preferred Qualifications:Paralegal certification from an accredited program is preferred.Experience with e-discovery tools and case management software.Experience in specific industries or regulatory areas (e.g., financial services, healthcare, etc.) is a plus.
