They help enterprises and service providers maintain seamless operations and defend against cyber threats by providing industry-leading network monitoring and security solutions.Position OverviewOur client is seeking a Regional Sales Director to drive revenue growth and expand their presence in the Northeast Region, covering New York and Boston. This role requires a dynamic and experienced sales leader with a strong background in IT sales, demonstrated leadership in managing high-performing teams, and the ability to engage with C-level executives.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & StrategyDevelop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed regional revenue targets.Manage and expand an existing customer base while identifying new business opportunities.Provide accurate sales forecasting and maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities.Team Management & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.Establish clear goals and performance metrics for team members, ensuring alignment with company objectives.Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and accountability.Customer & Relationship ManagementCultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.Engage effectively with C-level executives to demonstrate the value of our clients solutions.Drive customer satisfaction and retention by delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs.Operational ExcellenceUtilize strong forecasting skills to provide accurate revenue predictions.Allocate resources efficiently to maximize sales potential and meet financial objectives.Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize territory growth and market penetration.Required Experience & Qualifications10-15 Years in IT SalesExtensive experience in outside sales within the IT industry, including areas such as Networking, Database, and Big Data.Consistently exceeded sales quotas and demonstrated success in growing and managing sales territories.Proven ability to build and sustain long-term relationships with career accounts and key contacts.Strong capability in presenting value propositions and engaging with C-suite executives.4-6 Years in ManagementTrack record of driving revenue growth through effective leadership.Experience in recruiting, developing, and managing top-performing sales teams.Strong territory planning and organizational skills.Ability to communicate internal opportunities and challenges effectively.Preferred QualificationsExperience selling into the Financial Services vertical is a plus.Passion for continuous learning and professional growth.Exceptional executive collaboration skills for both internal and external communications.
