Braun Cathie Kruzel is an AV-rated law firm in North Scottsdale with a focus on estate planning and trust administration, settlement of both contested and uncontested estate, and related business, real estate, and tax planning. We are seeking a highly skilled, proficient, and self-motivated paralegal with multiple capabilities and experience in estate planning, probate and trust administration, and/or corporate/business transactions. Minimum Qualifications:A four-year bachelor's degree or certificate from accredited paralegal training program Minimum of two (2) years of experience in estate planning, probate and trust administration, estate tax and financial planning, and/or business transactionsResponsibilities may include:Draft wills, trusts, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documentsHandle the funding of assets into established trustsWork with attorneys to formulate new plans or update existing plansDraft, review, and implement contracts and various transactional documents including formation of entities, business interest transfers, and real estate transactions File documentation with the Arizona Corporation Commission, Secretary of State, and various county recorder and assessor officesAdminister probate and trust administration-related matters, including the preparation of pleadings for formal probates, informal probates, settlement agreements, plans of division, and accountingsCommunicate daily with clients, trustees, beneficiaries, banks, and appraisers to address open items and obtain information concerning clients' assetsReport to multiple attorneysSkills must include:Proficient in Microsoft OfficeClient relationship skills and problem-solving skillsCase and database management experienceIs a detail-oriented person and appreciates processes and proceduresTechnical writing, drafting, and organizational skills are a plusAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environmentLikes to work in a teamExperience with Timeslips and Time Matters applications a plusBCK offers an attractive salary, comprehensive benefits package (including medical, dental, vision, life, disability), a company funded profit sharing and a 401(k) plan, paid time off (holiday, vacation, PTO, sick), and a shortened Friday work schedule throughout the year.
