Fitter - Mastectomy & Compression Garments

Job descriptionWe are seeking a person who enjoys helping people and is able to provide patient care confidently and with discretion.Duties:- Perform fittings and adjustments of medical devices, such as prosthetics and orthotics, to meet the specific needs of patients- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper fit and function of devices- Use medical terminology and coding to accurately document patient information and device specifications- Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assess patient needs and recommend appropriate devices- Instruct patients on the proper use and care of their devices- Maintain a clean and organized work area- Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent infectionRequirements:- Previous experience as a Fitter or in a related field preferred- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding, anatomy, and physiology- Excellent patient service skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Proficient in using fitting tools and equipment- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects if requiredCompany is willing to train the right candidate and assist with fitter certifications.Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
