Salary: $60K-$80K dependent upon experienceAbout the RoleThe Personal Lines Account Manager will assist personal insurance clients with day-to-day needs and provide them with first-class service.Responsibilities• Build a strong rapport with clients to maintain a book of business of approximately 450+ policyholders and approximately 1,500 policies in force• Communicate with clients by phone, video conference, email and (occasionally) face-to-face interactions to ensure their needs are understood and addressed• Assist clients with claims, billing questions, policy changes, and payment options• Make coverage recommendations based on clients' needs• Work with producers to quote & issue new insurance policies for prospective clients in a timely manner• Identify, create, and respond to cross-sell opportunities with existing clients• Remarket existing clients with alternative insurance providers as needed• Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions and set internal reminders to ensure client needs are being addressed in a timely manner• Maintain up to date knowledge of carrier appetites and capabilities to best serve clientsQualifications• At least 5 years of personal lines insurance customer service preferred (applicants with a minimum of 3 years of experience will still be considered)Required Skills• Strong attention to detail• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Strong work ethic and positive attitude• Ability to resolve practical problems as they arise in a timely manner• Strong ethical behavior• Ability to collaborate with personal insurance team to assist with strategic growth of department and strong retention among existing clients• Demonstrate respect and courtesy to everyone• Computer literacy in Windows operating system, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)• Professional communication with customers, co-workers, insurance carriers, and other contacts• Experience managing insurance policies from multiple insurance carriers• Experience utilizing an Agency Management System to service personal insurance clients• Experience with Applied EPIC is preferred• Experience utilizing a comparative rating platform to procure new business quotes• Experience with EzLynx is preferredRequired Licenses• Current Property & Casualty Insurance license in state of residencePreferred Designations• Certified Insurance Service Representative ("CISR") offered by the Risk & Insurance Education AllianceCompensation & Benefits• Competitive base salary and quarterly bonus opportunities for proactive new business development• Annual bonus opportunities based on individual contributions to department growth and client retention• 401 (k) Retirement Account• Employee Stock Ownership Plan ("ESOP")• Health, dental, life and disability insurance• Paid Time Off• Ability to participate in company sponsored wellness initiativeNote: Employee will be required to work in-office a minimum of 4 days per week until training period is complete (approximately 4-6 weeks).
