As they continue to expand, they are looking for an experienced Project Estimator to join their dynamic team.Job Description:They are seeking a highly motivated Project Estimator to help manage and drive the estimating process for commercial build-outs and residential renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating both commercial and residential construction projects, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.Responsibilities:Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial build-outs and residential remodels/renovations.Review construction plans and specifications to develop thorough cost projections for materials, labor, and equipment.Work with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and ensure competitive pricing.Conduct material takeoffs and develop bid packages for projects.Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for potential projects.Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to assess scope and ensure project budgets are met.Analyze and recommend cost-saving strategies, providing value engineering solutions as necessary.Track project costs and adjust estimates as needed to reflect project changes.Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Estimator in commercial and residential construction.Strong knowledge of estimating processes, construction materials, methods, and building codes.Proficiency in estimating software (ProEst, Buildertrend, or similar).Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Experience with both commercial build-outs and residential remodels/renovations.Familiarity with project management software and scheduling tools.Why Join Us?Competitive salary between $85,000 - $100,000 based on experience.Opportunity to work on diverse and exciting commercial and residential projects.Collaborative and supportive work environment with room for growth and advancement.Health benefits and paid time off.
