Job Description: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)Job OverviewThe Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will spearhead the development and execution of the company's marketing strategy. This role focuses on strengthening our B2B marketing initiatives, expanding our direct-to-consumer channels, establishing new strategic partnerships, and leveraging data-driven insights to maximize the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. The CMO will collaborate with sales, product development, and other departments to align marketing initiatives with company goals and drive growth.Key ResponsibilitiesB2B Marketing:Design and execute targeted marketing strategies, with a focus on accessing the untapped potential partners in the industry.Capitalize on existing relationships with 60,000 partners to enhance business opportunities and deepen market penetration.Consumer Direct Marketing:Expand direct-to-consumer marketing efforts beyond our current dependence on Lending Tree by developing innovative, multi-channel strategies to boost brand visibility and generate leads.Partnership Development:Identify and cultivate new partnerships, such as with financial planners, to lay the groundwork for rolling out products like home equity loans.Integrate these partnerships seamlessly into the company's broader marketing and business strategy.Marketing Analytics and Optimization:Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns across various channels, including mail, text, email, and more, to ensure we are "getting the most juice" out of our efforts.Utilize data analytics to optimize campaigns, improve return on investment (ROI), and gain insights into market penetration.Operational Leadership:Oversee all marketing operations, including budget management, team leadership, and resource allocation.Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing strategies support overall company objectives.QualificationsProven experience as a CMO or in a senior marketing leadership role, ideally within the or financial services industry.Extensive expertise in B2B marketingA successful track record in direct-to-consumer marketing campaigns, preferably in financial services.Exceptional strategic planning and execution skills, with a focus on driving measurable results.Strong analytical capabilities and a data-driven mindset for decision-making and campaign optimization.Outstanding leadership and team management skills to guide and inspire the marketing team.Proficiency with digital marketing tools, platforms, and multi-channel campaign management.In-depth knowledge of the lending industry, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and the competitive landscape.Experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships to support business growth.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
