We are seeking a Communications Leader to oversee and drive key enterprise initiatives that align with business objectives and messaging. This role will engage with functional leaders and cross-functional teams to execute strategic communication efforts.Key Responsibilities:Lead interactions with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to support key business initiatives.Develop, implement, and manage communication campaigns, ensuring strategic messaging and measurable results.Provide regular counsel to senior leadership to maintain alignment on communication strategies.Collaborate with executives to craft and distribute communications, including speeches, letters, and presentations, while serving on relevant event planning committees.Utilize public relations tools such as media kits, press releases, and strategic pitching to enhance brand visibility.Drive innovative PR and internal communication strategies to effectively convey key messages and drive engagement.Develop and execute internal communication plans supporting HR initiatives, change management, and training programs.Proactively identify and manage potential reputational risks, crisis response, and issue mitigation strategies.Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for weekend issue monitoring.Stay informed on industry trends and insights to enhance business communications.Foster a team-oriented culture by actively supporting and mentoring colleagues.Required Skills & ExpertisePublic Relations & Media Management: Proven ability to develop and execute media relations strategies that elevate brand awareness at both national and local levels.Experience anticipating and addressing brand-related risks with effective response strategies.Ability to craft compelling messages on behalf of executives, maintaining consistent tone and messaging.Expertise in developing engaging communication strategies for a diverse, geographically dispersed workforce.Skilled at identifying opportunities to integrate messaging across public relations, employee communications, and social media.Ability to create, refine, and sustain a compelling brand narrative over time.Proficient in managing multiple priorities while delivering results on time and within budget.Adept at collaborating with internal stakeholders to support and execute their communication objectives.Trusted advisor to executives, providing expert guidance on communication strategies.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.Experience & Skills:Minimum of 5 years in communications, public relations, agency, or journalism roles.Strong writing and editing skills across various communication platforms, with expertise in AP Style.Experience collaborating cross-functionally with partners at all levels.Passion for food and hospitality.Willingness to travel as needed.Preferred Qualifications:Proven experience in issue and reputation management.Demonstrated leadership ability, including coaching and accountability for team performance.
