About the role:As a Director at Integral, youll partner with our clients to shape and deliver strategic employee and executive communication approaches that drive organizational success through transformational experiences. We meet our clients where they are in their journey, whether theyre just starting out or advancing mature programs. Working closely with senior client stakeholders and collaborating with a team of professionals, youll blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution to create meaningful impact for our diverse client portfolio including brands like PepsiCo, Nike, Ralph Lauren, Johnson & Johnson, Macy's, Citizens Financial, Amazon Web Services and IBM.Key Areas of ResponsibilityStrategic Leadership & PlanningDevelop comprehensive employee communications strategies that align with clients business objectives and cultural aspirations, adapting our approach to each clients unique realityLead strategic planning workshops and discovery sessions with C-suite and senior stakeholders, practicing compassionate curiosity to truly understand their challengesTranslate complex business challenges into actionable communication plans that drive measurable outcomes and excellent resultsClient Partnership & GrowthServe as trusted advisor and day-to-day lead for key client relationships, demonstrating authentic interest in understanding their business context and organizational dynamicsIdentify and pursue organic growth opportunities within existing accounts while maintaining focus on client successCollaborate with Integral's leadership team on agency growth initiatives and new business development, staying agile as market needs evolveContent Strategy & CreationGuide development of multi-channel content strategies that bring corporate narratives to life authenticallyReview and elevate teams content output across formats including executive communications, change communications, and engagement campaignsEnsure consistency of voice, messaging and strategic alignment across deliverables while adapting to each clients unique cultureInnovation & Digital EvolutionStay at the forefront of emerging communication technologies, AI tools, and digital workplace solutions, embracing continuous learning and growthEvaluate and recommend new platforms and approaches to enhance client communications effectivenessChampion the integration of innovative tools and methodologies while ensuring practical application and value for each clients specific needsTeam Leadership & DevelopmentMentor and develop junior team members with genuine care and curiosity about their growth journeyFoster a culture of creativity, excellence and continuous improvement through authentic feedback and supportLead by example in building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality work while maintaining work-life integrationProject & Account ManagementOversee multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards and adapting to changing circumstancesManage account P&L and resource planning to ensure profitable delivery while meeting client needsEstablish project scope, timelines and success metrics aligned with client realitiesKey Attributes & Experience RequiredStrategic MindsetProven ability to translate business objectives into effective communication strategies while remaining adaptable to each organizations contextStrong business acumen and understanding of organizational dynamicsExperience connecting communications initiatives to measurable business outcomesClient LeadershipTrack record of building and maintaining authentic senior-level client relationshipsAbility to provide strategic counsel with both confidence and humilityExperience growing accounts through excellence in delivery and genuine partnershipCommunications ExpertiseDeep understanding of employee communications best practices with curiosity about emerging trendsExperience developing multi-channel content strategies that respect organizational realitiesStrong editorial judgment and excellent writing/editing skillsTeam LeadershipDemonstrated success in mentoring and developing junior talent through authentic feedback and supportAbility to guide professional growth while fostering work-life integrationExperience leading and motivating creative teams with empathy and purposeThe DetailsRequirements8+ years of experience in internal/employee communicationsUnderstanding of change management principles and employee engagement driversMust be eligible to work without visa sponsorshipLocation: Hybrid (NYC-based)Compensation & BenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation package including:Compensation $110,000 - 130,000 base, 15% bonus opportunity, immediately-vested Profit-Sharing/Employee Equity EquivalentComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage (would you believe we will cover 100% of your healthcare premium and generously contribute to covering your spouse and dependents?
