Thank you!Type: Perm F/TLocation: This role offers a hybrid work model (2 days a week in the office) and can be based in any of the following locations:Saint Laurent, QCRichmond Hill, ONPhoenix, AZVancouver, WAPosition Overview:In this engaging leadership role, the Cloud Platforms Team Lead champions our commitment to quality, service, integrity, and teamwork by:Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.Architect and deploy scalable solutions in AWS and Azure, troubleshooting and optimizing systems to ensure peak performance.Proactively seek opportunities to enhance cloud architecture for performance, security, and manageability, collaborating with other IT teams on planning and implementation.Manage cloud budgets, including forecasting, cost optimization, and monitoring of cloud expenditures.Drive the automation of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates.Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements by working closely with security teams on IAM, encryption, and network security.Oversee day-to-day cloud operations, leading the team in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents.Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation, best practices, and procedures to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing.Lead and mentor the cloud team, providing guidance and support for the successful delivery of cloud solutions.Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and best practices to recommend and implement improvements.What you bring:Expertise in cloud architecture, deployment, and operations, with a deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).Proven experience managing cloud budgets and optimizing cloud costs using AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, or similar tools.Strong knowledge of security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security.Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Experience with containerization, orchestration tools, and serverless architectures.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology is preferred.Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.Foundations of your career:Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on AWS and Azure platforms.Minimum of 2 years in a Lead or Manager role, with demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members effectively.What we bring:Competitive insurance benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, and FSA (dependent care/medical)Company paid life, accidental death & dismemberment, and long-term disability insuranceOptional supplemental life, accidental death & dismemberment, and short-term disability insurance401(k) retirement account with employer match and immediate vestingPaid time off accrual account (starts at 10 days per year, with an additional day added annually up to 20 days)40 hours of accrued Paid Sick and Safe Time annually10 paid holidays per year, plus an additional 2 floating holidays8 Hours of "Cares" Volunteer Hours per yearPaid Parental Bonding LeaveTuition AssistanceEmployee Assistance Program50% food discount at our Company StoresSalary range: $110,000-$124,000.
