A high-end hospitality group in Manhattan seeks a VP of Marketing. The ideal candidate would have 10-15 years of marketing experience, recently in a leadership position, with experience managing, overseeing all aspects of marketing/communications, & driving strategy.Salary: $200-250K base + benefits and bonusHours: 9-6Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remoteResponsibilities:Oversees current marketing/communications teamFields PR requests, projects, events, and collaborations in line with the brandGuides strategy on press outreach, including messaging in press releases, creation of press kits and materials, interview preparation, and responses to media requestsCultivate and oversee high-value relationships with brands and create a strategy around partnershipsPresent quarterly partnership revenue for active joint marketing, product placements, co-branded events, and sponsorshipsBuild and nurture relationships with top-tier brands, influencers, and industry leadersAct as the primary point of contact for management deal brandsOversees internal and external graphic designersReviews and approves all assets before publicationDevelop, implement, and evaluate an annual marketing and communications planLaunch creative campaigns and initiatives that resonate including social and online media, print media, direct mail and other multimediaManage third party production vendors includingOversees shoots and reviews all shoot material for approval of releaseParticipate in industry events to support and promote the brandWork closely with marketing, operations, and senior leadership to ensure consistent and cohesive messagingCollaborate with the content teams to maintain visual and verbal brand consistency across all touchpointsDefine and track key performance indicators (KPIs), using data insights to optimize engagement and retentionEstablish goals and create strategy for meeting marketing deliverables and metrics; work with Directors to establish team and individual goals and metricsWorks with the Corporate Controller and Directors to develop annual budgets for marketing & communicationsQualifications:Bachelors degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field10-15 years of marketing and branding experience, with leadership experience, ideally out of high-end hospitality or luxury retail environmentCommunicates information effectively and efficiently, especially when managing a team or liaising with departmentsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite or other similar design softwareExcellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentationsExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrates positive leadership characteristics, which inspires team members to meet and exceed standardsExperience writing and editing projects; portfolio of relevant previous projects highly preferred
