As a Mechanical Project Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating mechanical piping, HVAC, and plumbing systems for a wide range of multifamily & commercial construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates are precise, competitive, and aligned with project goals. This is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact with a leading company in a growing industry.Compensation and Benefits:Competitive Salary: $80K - $130K depending on experience.Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.Paid time off and holidays.Opportunities for career growth and professional development.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for mechanical piping, HVAC, and plumbing systems for multifamily & commercial construction projects.Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and contractors to understand project scope and requirements.Develop material takeoffs, labor costs, and equipment requirements for all mechanical systems.Review project plans and specifications to identify potential challenges, risks, and opportunities for cost savings.Analyze and compare vendor and subcontractor quotes, ensuring the best value and quality.Assist with bid preparation, including writing proposals and presenting estimates to clients.Work closely with the project management team during the pre-construction phase to ensure smooth project execution.Maintain accurate records of all estimates, revisions, and project documents.Qualifications:2+ years of experience estimating mechanical piping, HVAC, and plumbing systems, preferably in multifamily construction.Strong understanding of mechanical systems (piping, HVAC, plumbing) and how they integrate within multifamily construction.Excellent knowledge of estimating software, tools, and systems.Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.Proven experience with cost analysis, vendor management, and subcontractor selection.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is a plus but not required.Why Join Us?This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that values both professional growth and team collaboration.
