Construction Superintendent

Flowtec is partnered with a reputable General Contractor based in Pontiac, MI. This role will report directly to Ownership and offers a significant progression path over the next 3 years. The company has been in business for 15 years and has steadily grown their presence in Southeastern Michigan. They seek an individual that has experience overseeing ground up builds, with the desire to take on a field leadership role in the near future. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers to meet project deadlines.Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.Conduct daily site inspections, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans.Maintain project schedules and communicate progress with project managers and stakeholders.Ensure materials and equipment are delivered on time and properly utilized.Conduct quality control inspections and address any deficiencies.Lead site meetings, coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients.Document daily reports, progress updates, and issue resolution.Qualifications5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial or industrial construction.Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and specifications.Strong leadership and communication skills.Proficiency in project management software and scheduling tools.OSHA 30 certification preferred.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience, between $110,000 and $125,000$600/month car allowance with fuel card$75/month phone allowanceHealth, dental, and vision insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield401(k) with 3% company match15 Days of Paid Time Off10 Company Holidays
