Metis is currently partnered with a leading Global Investment Banking group, seeking experienced Associates and Vice Presidents to join their growing team either in New York or Houston. All Energy verticals are welcome, with a preference on Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities and Renewables.Applicants without prior investment banking experience are kindly requested to refrain from applying.Job **Ability to collaborate with a deal team under senior leadershipResearch and analyze client financials, market data, and M&A opportunitiesPerform asset and company valuations (private and public)Create complex financial and M&A modelsDraft client proposals, presentations, and marketing materialsAssist in training and mentoring junior team membersThe ideal candidate would have the following **At least 4-8 years of experience in investment banking, primarily within Energy, Oil & Gas, Power, Utilities & Infrastructure sectors.Analyst background preferred.An independent thinker who will proactively identify and resolve complex financial tasks head onCollaborative, and can lead sector execution on M&A and the full suite of investment banking productsExtensive market knowledge of the Energy space.Knowledge of Dealogic, CapIQ, Bloomberg, and MS Office suite is preferred.Series 63 and 79 licenses required at the time of hiring or shortly thereafter.
