A world-leading $60BN global systematic hedge fund is looking for a Software Engineer to be a part of its multi-billion technology trading platform and looking for a candidate with strong technology experience across multiple disciplines, High-Frequency Trading, and Low Latency Environments. Software Engineers with expertise in C++ will be a part of the Core Infrastructure team which is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a low latency trading platform that is deployed globally.Skills *****Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldSuperior design, debugging, and problem solving skills with advanced C++ experience is required, daily use preferredKnowledge of UNIX operating systems (we use Linux), system/processor performance, and network communicationHave a background in multi-threaded programming and a strong understanding of hardware/software interactionAre comfortable working "under the hood" and you are quite skilled in performance tuning (applications, Linux, socket I/O, etc.) and troubleshootingHave experience working with C++ libraries like STL and BoostAre up to date on the C++ 21 standardsHave strong verbal and written communication skillsExperience working in the trading industry or another ultra-low latency-sensitive business that involves solving remarkably complex problemsFull life-cycle software development utilizing exotic hardware/software architectures for ultra-low latency trading systemsThis position offers top industry compensation and bonus with huge career progression working for a world-leading hedge fund and building a team that is building the next generation risk platform in electronic trading.
