Senior Software Engineer (Rust)***** Up to 200,000 (USD)***** 4-12 Months of Base (Annually, paid out bi-annually) We are partnered with a tech-focused HFT prop-trading firm based in New York that is looking to onboard a Rust Engineer to their team. The company has weathered unstable markets and grown steadily since being founded in 2021 (50% growth over two years). This has included opening new offices in Singapore and Taipei. The client has its own latency-sensitive trading system and state-of-the-art algorithms. In the beginning, they focussed on digital asset classes, now they have started building infrastructure to handle traditional asset classes too. The ***** You will be joining a world-class engineering team, with backgrounds from Tower, BOA and other Tier-1 trading firms. The team you will be joining focuses on building highly performant, parallel and reliable data collection pipelines in Rust. You will also be designing high-frequency websocket endpoints, sending through parallel pipelines for data normalization. ***** 2+ Years of experience as a backend engineer Core Backend Engineering experience in either C, C++Rust ***** Ideally production experience, if not personal projects or open-source contributions can be considered. Excellent written and verbal English Motivated to join a fast-paced start-up. ***** No Finance/HFT or Defi experience is required for this position. The client is highly technically focused and values core engineering experience over industry experience. ***** Up to 200K Base Salary (For Seniors) + Bonus (4-12 Months of Base) + Benefits 15 Days PTO 15 Days WFH
