Project Coordinator - Commercial Construction

Stansell is seeking a talented Project Coordinator in the Tampa region to join our team!Stansell is a rapidly growing, WBE certified, general contractor specializing in commercial construction services across the Southeast United States. We focus on serving clients in the commercial market with emphasis on the following project types: restaurant dining and quick service food. The ideal candidate for this role is a career-minded individual with a customer service focus, has high energy, and is detail oriented. This candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.ResponsibilitiesResearch municipalities to submit and monitor permits and inspectionsUpon request provide Purchase Orders for PMSet up job files and folders for each new job in Procore using client folder templatesRenew municipality licensesAssist PM with uploading daily logs into ProcoreInput contracts and change orders into SageEnsure all permits are submitted and picked up by responsible partyEnsure each Superintendent has the tools it needs to meet the project milestones.Providing information and regular support to Project ManagerResearch vendors obtain quotes and work alongside of finance for payment process.Thorough project documentationCreating and reviewing of reports (project tracking and accounting)Work with Field personnel to handle project issues as they ariseAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Requirements and SkillsMinimum 2 years construction coordination experienceExperience with commercial construction permittingFamiliarity with construction/ project management software, Procore, PlanGrid, and SmartsheetExcellence with organizational and communication skillsDetail oriented and able to support multiple projects at onceExperience with Sage 100 Contractor and Paperless preferredStrong PC skills with a working knowledge of including but not limited to MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, and Outlook.We offer a fast-paced environment with excellent competitive pay and excellent benefits:Subsidized Employee MedicalDental, Vision, Life401(k) retirement plan with Company Matching FundsCell Phone AllowancePaid Time Off (PTO)Wellness ProgramQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, citizenship status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
