Company DescriptionRotorcraft Repair & Manufacturing LLC holds a repair station from the Federal Aviation Administration for non-destructive inspection techniques and the maintenance and modification of bonded structures for helicopter main and tail helicopter rotor blades. We offer a full range of inspection and restoration services from non-destructive testing of aviation and non-aviation articles to full overhaul of civil, public use, and military main and tail rotor blades. We also have capabilities to modify blades from and to various configurations.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Rotor Blade Technician (Level I, II, and III) at Rotorcraft Repair & Manufacturing LLC in Pocahontas, AR. The technician will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, inspection, repair, and modification of helicopter rotor blades.Responsibilities• Media Blasting/Grit Blasting• Metal/Composite Sanding• Metal/Composite Painting• Sheet Metal Repairs and Composite Repairs• Light Machining• Operate various tools (e.g., pliers, sanders,) and heavy equipment (e.g., Forklift)• Document all work performed and recommended on the necessary paperwork.• Have strong knowledge of measuring devices (e.g., tape measure)*****• Must pass a drug and alcohol test.• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively and be able to work on your feet all day performing tasks such as bending, stooping, pulling, reaching, and grabbing.• Must read, write, and speak the English Language• Must be 18 or older.QualificationsExperience in rotor blade maintenance, inspection, and repairKnowledge of non-destructive inspection techniques for bonded structuresAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong attention to detail and precisionFAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is a plusAbility to follow safety guidelines and protocolsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsBenefits Health InsuranceRetirement Vacation Time. 3 Day work week.
