Sales Executive

A Southeastern US based decorative lighting company is seeking a highly versatile Sales Executive. As a Sales Executive, you will play a critical role in promoting and building the company's brand. The candidate should be self-motivated in a fast-paced team environment with a growth oriented company. Job **·        Establishment of new account relationships in multi-channels of distribution·        Manage and lead a national sales force of independent sales representatives that collaborate with lighting showrooms, architects, lighting specifiers, interior designers, hospitality and furniture sales channels·        Cultivate business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options·        Deliver and execute an annual plan to capture new business and grow existing accounts·        Manage company sales and merchandising efforts to meet/exceed sales goals·        Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitorsDesired skills, knowledge and **·        Bachelor's degree preferred in marketing/business or equivalent experience·        5 years of senior level experience in sales or sales leadership within the decorative lighting industry·        Strategic leadership ability·        Have a proven track record of sales performance and demonstrate good business judgment·        Strong communication, negotiation ,and interpersonal skills·        Broad functional experience in areas of consumer marketing, product management, channel development, and market research·        Ability to travel as necessary
