Lead Fullstack Software Engineer - React and NestJS***** Newark CAWe are seeking a highly experienced Lead Developer with over 12 years of expertise in the MERN stackto join our supply chain management team and drive the development of high-impact applications forthe automotive sector.The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in React and NestJS, exceptional coding practices,proven leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of system design to ensure robust, scalablesolutions.You **• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of developers in building and maintaining automotive-relatedweb applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node/Nest).• Define and oversee technical strategy and architecture for scalable and robust web solutions inthe automotive domain.• Ensure the implementation of best practices and standards in coding and softwaredevelopment.• Develop solutions using event-driven architecture (Mongo Change Streams, Kafka, SchemaRegistry, and connectors).• Architect and develop complex features and enhancements for our automotive platforms.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and otherdevelopers, to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions.• Maintain and improve existing systems, addressing performance, reliability, and security issues.• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements to incorporateinnovative solutions into our projects.• Continuously optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.• Act as a technical liaison with automotive clients and stakeholders to gather requirements anddeliver effective solutions.• Translate complex business needs into technical specifications and actionable tasks.You *• Minimum of 12 years of experience as a Lead Developer, with extensive expertise in the MERNstack• Experience in React + Nest +Mongo stack is MUST• Proven track record of leading development teams and managing large-scale projects.• Strong experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.• Strong experience with Kafka and implementing event-driven and serverless architecture.• Background in developing and deploying web applications within the automotive industry orrelated sectors.• Familiarity with supply chain management• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD practices, and Agile methodologies.• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts toboth technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred ****• Experience with Java or Java-based frameworks (Spring Boot, Microservices, etc.).• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).• Knowledge of automotive software development frameworks and protocols.• Relevant certifications or advanced degrees in computer science or related field
