Job Purpose & ObjectivesProvide operational support to the Equity business and other Global Markets areas, including trade capture, desk support, client service, P&L reporting, cash management and break reconciliation.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure accurate trade capture and confirmations are sent to clients of various flowsReconcile breaks between frontend systems and backend data. Resolve any trade discrepancies with various parties (trading desk, client, broker, settlement...)Perform trade reconciliations and follow-up on any discrepanciesPerform regulatory reporting where necessaryWork with front office and IT to enhance system functioningReport on performance and potential issues to direct management, and more generally support management as and when requiredJob SpecificationsQualification & ExperienceBachelor degreeMinimum 3 years' experience working in an investment banking middle officeKnowledge & SkillsProduct knowledge in US/APAC equity derivativesStrong interpersonal skillsStrong risk and control mind-setLanguageFluent in EnglishSpanish a plusOther Skills (e.g. Interpersonal, Communication etc)Strong interpersonal and communication skillsCustomer-orientedAble to work in a matrix reporting structure, multi-functional and cross-cultural environmentWell-organized and meticulous in detailsAbility to work under pressureA team playerHigh integrityRequirementsObtain SIE and Series 7 within 6 monthsComplete NFA Long Track Proficiency ExamAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $110,000 to $135,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
