Financial Coordinator

Are you a skilled finance professional with experience in clinical research? We are seeking a Senior Clinical Research Finance Coordinator to support the Clinical Research Office by providing essential finance services throughout the clinical research process, from study initiation through completion. This is a remote position with an initial onsite orientation in Newport Beach, CA.Key **Assist with staff training and collaborate closely with the finance team to maintain contract and budget amendments.Oversee the invoice process for Phase 1 research, develop internal budgets, and track invoicing and payments for studies.Ensure timely and thorough processing of accounts, adhering to deadlines.Support administrative and financial activities related to research or other sponsored projects.Perform budget-to-actual analyses and financial projections.Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks for study fund accounts.Provide assistance on financial projects and serve as a resource for various clinical research finance aspects.Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience within clinical research.Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and financial skills in the clinical research environment.Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, accounting software, and databases.Additional: Experience with budgeting for clinical research, start-ups, and budget negotiations.
