High-Profile Boutique Litigation Law Firm Seeking ParalegalRakower Law PLLC is a boutique litigation firm in midtown Manhattan. The Firm regularly handles industry-shaping commercial disputes relating to corporate finance, real estate finance, partnerships, employment, ERISA, securities, and professional malpractice.The Firm is looking for a smart, enthusiastic, and self-motivated person to provide full-time paralegal assistance to the Firm's attorneys. Individuals interested in pursuing a career in law will have a first-hand opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of legal matters while working closely with attorneys in a fast-paced, friendly and collaborative professional environment. The Paralegal's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:·  Reviewing and editing legal briefs·  Conducting legal research·  Drafting legal documents·  Filing motion papers and other documents in state and federal courts·  Analyzing discovery documents in preparation for depositions· Performing clerical and administrative work for attorneys, including answering phones, greeting clients and managing attorneys' schedulesSuccessful candidates must agree to a two-year commitment and possess the following qualifications:·  College degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3·  Strong written and verbal communication skills·  Keen attention to detail·  Excellent organizational and leadership skills·  Team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic·  The ability to learn and apply complex legal arguments and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment·  Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointCandidates with legal or administrative work are preferred. To apply, please send a resume, cover letter, writing sample, transcript, and list of three references to info@. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Annual salary is $50,000-$60,000 plus benefits and a discretionary bonus.
