OVERVIEWNorth Bridge is an alternative investor focused on creating sustainable real estate solutions. Founded in 2021 by industry veteran Laura Rapaport, North Bridge draws on decades of collective experience from institutional private equity, development, debt and capital markets roles. North Bridge is a C-PACE (Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy) lender and servicer, active in all major asset classes. C-PACE loans are a form of low-cost, long-term, fixed-rate financing that borrowers can obtain in exchange for making energy efficiency, water efficiency and resiliency improvements to real estate. The proceeds are collateralized by a special assessment on the property and interest and/or principal payments are paid back as a line item on the property tax bill.North Bridge is seeking to hire a senior originator with over 10 years of experience in real estate debt brokerage or originations. As a Senior Originator, you will play a critical role in sourcing, analyzing, and closing new C-PACE transactions.RESPONSIBILITIESSource potential C-PACE deals through your network of property owners, developers, and industry professionalsStay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes related to C-PACE financingDevelop structures and terms that meet the needs of both the borrower and the companyGenerate financial analysis and investment credit memorandumsProvide ongoing relationship management and support to clients; be a liaison to capital partnersContribute to the development and growth of North BridgeREQUIREMENTSBachelor's in business, finance, real estate, or related discipline; advanced degree is a plus 10+ years of experience in real estate credit; mezzanine debt originations experience an assetProven track record in originating, structuring, and closing on commercial real estate loans or financing transactionsDeep understanding of financial analysis, underwriting principles, and risk assessmentAble to develop and execute creative deal structures and deliver term sheetsStrong network and relationships within the US commercial real estate industrySuperior negotiation, communication, partnership, and presentation skillsDemonstrated leadership skills and proven ability to manage multiple priorities as part of a lean and dynamic teamFamiliarity with energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability concepts is advantageousHighly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointLocation: Office in Midtown Manhattan; hybrid scheduleBase Salary Range: Starting at $200K, depending on experience; plus performance-based bonusApplication Instructions: Interested candidates should send their (i) resume and (ii) cover letter to info@ with the subject line "VP/Director Investments." We appreciate all applications, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
