Social enterprise jewelry company currently looking for an individual with an interest in fine jewelry and non-profits who is available to work part-time (potential to grow to full-time) assisting with jewelry production in the Diamond District on 47th St. in Midtown.ResponsibilitiesExecute production of designs by artist (from model to mold to casting to sourcing and finishing) in the Diamond DistrictAct as a runner to the Diamond District and to the Upper East SideAssure quality control of finished productKeep job slips organized and make sure jobs are completed on timeCommunicate with vendorsQualificationsMust be highly attentive to detail and deadlinesStrong communication skillsAbility to travel throughout ManhattanMust have strong organizational, communication and time-management skillsCollege degree or a degree/certification from a related field is preferableThis role requires the individual to live within the New York City metropolitan area.
