Company DescriptionEpicurean Food & Beverages is an importer of gourmet food items, mainly from France, located in Atlanta, GA. The company sells premium sparkling beverages and juices to distributors throughout the USA and Canada. Epicurean Food & Beverages mission is to help consumers discover premium artisanal products that will delight their taste buds.Role DescriptionThe Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the companys sales operations, with a primary focus on sales growth and market expansion through our existing distributor network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and operations. He will be instrumental in driving the companys strategic vision forward.**1) Sales *Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and clients (UNFI, SYSCO, Chefs Warehouse...).Develop a sales strategy with brokers or a sales network if needed, providing guidance and support to ensure sales goals are met.Enhance online presence for the brands (Amazon, Walmart, Tik Tok...).Develop cost effective marketing strategies to support distributor and retailer sales.2) Operational *Ensure efficient day-to-day sales support with dedicated resource, including monitoring customer pickups, invoicing and accounts receivable, as well as inventory management to ensure we have the appropriate product in stock.Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs, including AI tools.Collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.3) Financial and Regulatory Management and *Ensure compliance with FDA and Organic regulations and standards in coordination with management.Respond to quality control requests from customers.4) Marketing Planning / Sales *Manage marketing resources to create marketing plans for large customers.Promotional and support planning for distributors.Participation to distributor shows as well as regional or national shows (like the Fancy Food Show).5) Team **Lead and motivate the team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.QualificationsAnalytical Skills and Market Research abilitiesStrong Communication and Customer Service skillsExperience in Lead GenerationExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationshipsProven track record in sales and business developmentAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of gourmet food industry is a mustBachelors degree in Business or related field
