Engineering Technician

Objective of JobThis position will be responsible for assisting production in troubleshooting downtime related issues in all assembly related processes.This position would support Process Engineering in optimizing productivity of existing programs with injection molding to production final assembly.Ensure production processes are followed and reliable.Principal ActivitiesAssist process engineering in isolating complex manufacturing issues whether it is in process, material, or machine functionality related.Aid Process Engineering to reduce cycle times and increases efficiency of automated equipment.Assist in program start-ups involving processes, equipment, machinery, and tools (fixtures and jigs).Investigate new technologies to enable DAA to stay competitive in Automotive Manufacturing.Aid Process Engineering in small project work. (Small Automation projects, PLC Projects).Develop and manage datasheets (approved by Process Engineering).
