Market-leading global food manufacturer is currently in search of an experienced Maintenance Manager with a strong background in canned food / pouched food / retort / thermal processing to join its team within its growing, state-of-the-art plant in Memphis, TN. Prior experience as a Maintenance Manager within a canned foods / LACF facility or similar high-risk, ready-to-eat environment with heavy automation and robotics is absolutely essential.Primary **Hands-on leadership of the maintenance team within a rapidly-expanding plant business unit, including management of salaried supervisors and skilled hourly maintenance technicians responsible for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance in a highly-automated manufacturing operationContinue to drive and influence continuous improvement and safety cultureswithin the operationWork closely with senior plant leadership in the areas of budgeting, capital expense planning, project management, asset management, and inventory controlKey requirements to be considered for this *BS Degree, preferably within a technical or operations-related disciplineMust have 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience within a food manufacturing thermal processing operation - retort or other low acid canned foods (LACF) process knowledge is essentialStrong overall knowledge of maintenance principles within food manufacturing, including robotics, conveyors, packaging machines, industrial electricity, PLC/HMI devicesBetter Process Control School training or certification is a big plus!Must have a strong background in food safety (HACCP / SQF / GFSI) and GMPs.
