Multi-Billion Dollar International Manufacturing Company located in Morganton NC is looking for a Project Manager *****Manage the entire planning and implementation phase of projects and programs through to completionContinuous controlling and communication of project progress (deadlines, budget, quality, risks, changes)Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budgetReport project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work planInitiating, developing, and tracking sustainable measures for the continuous improvement of project management, processes and project methodologyAssuming responsibility for planning and coordinating and supporting the implementation of improvement measuresAnalysis, evaluation, and comparison of OPEX KPIs to derive improvement prioritiesExchange with the GMS/OPEX team and other plants to further develop improvement measuresREQUIREDBachelors degree4+ years of project management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment4+ years Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives Knowledge of common project management methods (e.g. Prince2, Scrum, Microsoft Project, and KANBAN)Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
