As we expand our focus and strengthen our digital presence, we're looking for a Social Media Specialist to help shape our strategies and connect with a broader audience.Job SummaryThe Social Media Specialist will be responsible for executing Nina Shoes' social media strategy across various platforms to enhance brand awareness, increase engagement, and drive online sales. This onsite role in our New York, NY office involves content creation, platform management, community engagement, and performance tracking to ensure our brand message resonates with both existing and future customers.Key ResponsibilitiesContent ManagementPlan, schedule, and publish engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and Pinterest.Craft compelling captions and curate visuals that align with our brand identity and marketing initiatives.Platform Growth & Trend MonitoringResearch and implement strategies to grow followers, engagement, and conversions.Stay informed about emerging social media trends, platform updates, and viral content to enhance Nina Shoes online presence.Suggest and test creative campaign ideas.Community EngagementMonitor and respond to comments, messages, and tagged content to foster a strong brand community.Build and maintain relationships with micro-influencers, content creators, and brand advocates to boost engagement and visibility.Content Creation & Visual StorytellingCollaborate with the creative team to produce high-quality visuals, videos, and user-generated content.Create short-form video content (e.g., TikToks, Reels) to highlight products, trends, and brand storytelling.Performance Tracking & ReportingAnalyze social media performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and native platform insights.Prepare monthly reports with key takeaways and suggest data-driven optimizations to improve content strategy.Cross-Functional CollaborationSupport broader marketing campaigns, including product launches, influencer partnerships, and seasonal promotions.Work closely with the Social Media Manager and marketing team to align social media efforts with overall business goals.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).1-3 years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, in fashion, retail, or lifestyle.Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.Basic graphic design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.Excellent understanding of social media trends, hashtags, and best practices.Strong written and verbal communication skills with a flair for brand storytelling.Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams for reporting and internal communication.Must be based in New York, NY, and work onsite in our office.
