Telemundo 44 in Washington, D.C. has an opportunity for a Bilingual Content Producer (freelance) to work up to 40 hours per week.Content Producer responsibilities include:Write copy and desktop edit video for stories as assignedWork with Reporters and Anchors to gather content on all of Telemundo platforms, including but not limited to out-of-home, web and broadcastResearch and produce news segments and other editorial projects as assignedDevelop and pitch story ideasBasic QualificationsMinimum 2 years of news segment producingBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experienceBilingual with the ability to write proficiently in Spanish and EnglishMust be willing to work in Washington D.C.Must be 18 years or greaterMust have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United StatesMust be available to work overnights, weekends and holidaysDesired QualificationsMinimum 1 year experience in newsgathering and/or productionMinimum 1 year experience writing, producing and desktop editingStrong journalistic skillsExperience editing content on a desktop editing systemAbility to write, edit and produce under heavy deadline pressure without compromising accuracy or credibilityAbility to make priority decisions under deadlineTeam player
