They manage the client's advertising budget and ensure that internal teams adhere to the client's brand guidelines and marketing requirements. The BM's responsibilities include determining client needs, goals, and target markets, explaining the holistic marketing/advertising planning and implementation process, recommending solutions, and overseeing the internal team's progress.The Brand Manager should motivate internal teams to exceed client expectations and support team needs. If a decision needs to be made and the team is unable to come to a consensus, the decision falls to them. The success of a Brand Manager is measured by the success of their clients. This is a hybrid role. The office is in Baton Rouge, LA. If local to Baton Rouge, Brand Manager will work in office Tu, Wed, Thursday each week. If outside of Baton Rouge, must be within a 50 mile radius and onsite days will be determined based on needs.Role ResponsibilitiesServe as the internal client representative within the agency.Set and manage client expectations for work product, reasonable timelines, and fees.Meet with clients regularly to foresee upcoming needs.Act as the primary contact between the client and internal agency teams.Prepare compelling and thorough creative briefs and project briefs for the team.Review creative concepts and ensure conformity with the client's brand.Oversee budget prioritization with guidance from the project management team.Collaborate respectfully with all internal teams.Proactively address issues and delays in projects.Schedule client meetings.Facilitate client engagement through lunches, dinners, and other social settings to strengthen relationships.Grow existing client business.Work with the project management team to ensure client profitability.Understand the agency's business model for revenue generation.Propose advertising ideas and plans to clients for discussion and development.Implement advertising plans according to agreed-upon schedules and other parameters.Manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and ideas concurrently.Perform other related duties as assigned.Role QualificationsA Bachelors degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business administration, or a relevant field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a client services role or a comparable field.Excellent understanding of advertising methods and techniques.Strong ability to manage budgets on behalf of clients.Outstanding social and oral presentation skills.An outgoing and personable demeanor.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively toward a goal.Excellent communication and sales skills.Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.Ability to transform abstract concepts and ideas into concrete results.Ability to learn new software and online programs quickly.Ability to work within a structured process.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
