For more information visit .NexPoint is seeking a highly motivated, organized and technology-centered individual to join our team as Marketing & Events Associate. As a key member of our marketing team, you will report directly to the Director of Global Marketing with additional oversight from the Managing Director of Marketing and National Accounts. Youll engage in a broad range of activities, from managing event logistics to supporting administrative tasks across the firm. Your ability to navigate multiple aspects of the marketing and events spectrum will be critical, including shifting efficiently between creative endeavors, strategic initiatives, logistical challenges, and administrative duties. Key Responsibilities:40% MARKETINGDevelop and execute effective digital marketing campaigns in Marketo for targeted audiences. Support marketing leadership with the development and implementation of marketing and advertising campaigns, including email, social media, print, and relationship enhancementsCreate and distribute promotional collateral (i.e., event flyers, advertising, and digital media content)Create and manage Marketo Event Programs and lead nurturing efforts for the event and conference channel Become the expert on key segments by developing a deep and continuously refined understanding of the market, buyer personas, customer journey, and sales cycleAssist in creating presentation and communication materials for our National Accounts team and all eventsExecute special projects and initiatives within the marketing department, such as light design work, market research, direct mailers, product launch campaigns, and creative agency briefsOrder and keep track of inventory of marketing supplies, corporate collateral, and promotional items and work with the marketing coordinator to ensure appropriate stock at events to advance brand building and support sales60% EVENT PLANNINGManage logistics for live, in-person and virtual events, and provide project management for pre-, during and post-event activities.Project manage and execute events with oversight and support from the Marketing Director and Managing Director of Marketing and National Accounts Coordinate and execute end-to-end logistics for NexPoint's conference and events presence, such as event space reservations, display set-up, giveaway inventory management, catering and company travel & accommodationsSupport the marketing and sales teams by tracking tradeshow attendance and participation, managing the collection of assets and contacts and facilitating appropriate follow-upCreate a mechanism for monitoring ROI and lead generation from each attended or sponsored eventsManage relationships with external vendors, venues, event organizers and other partiesEducation:Bachelors degree in marketing or communications is preferredFinancial Services, Wealth Management, or Asset Management experience is a plusAttributes of the ideal candidate:You are highly detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize and execute tasks conforming to shifting priorities effectively, demands and timelinesWorks well within a highly integrated team and collaborates well with cross-functional teamsWilling and able to learn new tasks and take on more responsibility with their workEffective and transparent communicator, open to giving and receiving feedbackEager to grow in their career and to take ownership of their tasksMaintains a positive attitude and contributes to NexPoint's company cultureBasic Qualifications:Ability to multi-task and communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writingMS Office, Excel, and general IT proficiencyStrong organizational skills, good attention to detail and use of sound judgment in a fast-paced environmentOn-the-spot troubleshooting skills, critical for day-of event managementStrong work ethic and team player mentalityLight travel during conference busy seasons is possibleAbility to prioritize parallel projects, use time efficiently, plan, organize and work through projects in a self-motivated mannerAbility to lift or able to lift up to 25 lbs.Preferred Qualifications:3-5 years' experience in Marketing, Communications and Event PlanningKnowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools, including Marketo or a similar technology platformExperience with CRMs, Salesforce experience a bonusExperience with Project Management Tools: Microsoft Planner or similar platformExperience with Microsoft Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word Ability to design within Canva Pro and Adobe Creative SuiteExperience with online meeting and webinar platforms, including Zoom and/or Microsoft TeamsExperience with copywriting and content developmentCompensation & Benefits:NexPoint offers a competitive base salary and bonus based on experience and performance.
