Join us to challenge yourself with work that matters.We trust each other to do our best work where it works best for us and our teams, and this role can be performed remotely in most locations in the country of employment.The Contractor Market Research Manager will partner closely with product marketing to drive the research and insights strategy and execution on key LinkedIn business lines.This position sits in the Market Research team within the broader Marketing organization that is responsible for driving understanding of LinkedIn's member and customer audiences. We're excited about research leaders who have a strong results orientation and know how to create value in an agile, fast-paced, high-performing environment.Location- SF Bay Area (preferred), New York, or RemoteResponsibilities:Project executionIdentify best methodology to answer business and research questionsScope and design research project/action planDraft questionnaires and discussion/interview guidesManage end-to-end project set-up and execution (in-field) with internal or external research teamsAnalysis, Synthesis and Storytelling:Analyze data (using a variety of tools and resources)Synthesize data by reporting actionable results to Content and Product Marketing stakeholdersDrive Impact and Influence through collaboration:Work closely with Research Operations teams (internal or external - vendors) to execute surveysWork closely with Product marketing teams to communicate results and drive actionRequirements: Basic Qualifications: 7+ years of market research experience3+ years designing and writing surveysBA or BS degree requiredAdvanced level in Excel and PowerPointFamiliarity with some data processing tools such as SPSS, Decipher, Q, etc. (Decipher a plus) Preferred Qualifications:Experience with qualitative and quantitative research, synthesizing key implicationsExperience with tracking studies (e.g. brand health trackers)Experience with syndicated research (e.g. Forrester, Gartner, emarketer...)Strong leadership and communication skillsExperience working with and analyzing large data setsExperience with B2B research a plusCompensation: $90 - 130 Hourly (W2/Non-Exempt)Rate dependent on location****Req# 15161
