As the Maintenance Manager at our milk production facility, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant. You'll oversee all maintenance activities, manage a skilled team of technicians, and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime. If youre ready to drive operational excellence and maintain the highest standards in production, apply now and help us deliver quality dairy products to our customers!ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance.Oversee and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and technical issues to minimize production downtime.Coordinate and schedule repairs and maintenance with production to ensure minimal disruption.Manage the maintenance budget, including ordering parts, equipment, and supplies as needed.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.Analyze equipment performance and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.Develop and implement strategies for equipment upgrades and the introduction of new technologies.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsBachelors degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, or related field (preferred), or equivalent experience.Required SkillsProven experience as a maintenance manager in a food production or manufacturing environment, ideally in ice cream or dairy.Strong mechanical, electrical, and technical troubleshooting skills.Experience with preventive maintenance programs and systems optimization.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage budgets and ensure cost-effective maintenance operations.Knowledge of safety regulations, food safety, and sanitation requirements.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Flexibility to be on-call or available for emergency maintenance as needed.Preferred SkillsPay range and compensation packagePay range or salary or compensationEqual Opportunity StatementALBERTSONS SAFEWAY IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERThis Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate based on race, gender, ethnicity, religion, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or on any other basis prohibited by law.
