Private Credit/Asset-Based Finance Associate or Vice President New York, NYRole * My client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join their growing asset-based finance private credit team. The successful candidate will play a key role in sourcing, structuring, and executing a broad range of transactions, as well as managing and monitoring portfolio investments. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and complex deals, contributing to the firms strategic growth in the private credit space.Key *Deal * Identify and source new investment opportunities across various sectors, including real assets, energy, infrastructure, and consumer lending.Due * Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment.Structuring and * Lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of asset-based finance transactions, ensuring alignment with the firms investment criteria and risk appetite.Portfolio * Monitor and manage portfolio investments, providing ongoing support to portfolio companies and ensuring compliance with investment terms.Relationship * Build and maintain strong relationships with borrowers, intermediaries, and other market participants.Team * Work closely with senior team members and other departments to support the overall growth and success of the asset-based finance private credit team. Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.3.5GPA or higher *** 3-5 years of experience in private credit, asset-based finance, investment banking, or a related field.Vice ***** 7-10 years of experience with a proven track record in private credit, asset-based finance, or related areas.**Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.**Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
