We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Defense Legal Assistant to join our clients dynamic legal team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in insurance defense and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information.Maintain and organize case files and legal documents.Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.Manage deadlines and ensure timely filing of court documents.Perform administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and scanning documents.Qualifications:Minimum of 4 years of experience as a legal assistant in insurance defense.Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Education:Associates degree or higher in Paralegal Studies or a related field preferred.Benefits:Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysProfessional development opportunitiesIf interested in this outstanding legal assistant position, apply today!
