Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant - Corporate Trust & Estates GroupScope of Responsibility: Responsible for providing attorney administrative assistance to maintain high standards of efficiency and professionalism with clients.This position is specifically within the Corporate Trust & Estates Group.Must have 5 yeaers of experience.Job Duties (including but not limited to):Participate in the cultivation of client relationships by becoming familiar with the case/matter, which provides better service to the client and aids assignments in better preparing for client meetings.Maintain calendars for assignments, schedule meetings and appointments, and make travel arrangements as needed.Open and distribute mail to assignments.Create and edit correspondence, memoranda, etc.Responsible for copying, faxing, and scanning documents in the appropriate format.Prepare documents for mailing/delivery (i.e., U.S. mail, overnight delivery, UPS, courier).Familiar with filing procedures (i.e., electronic filing) and appropriate documentation needed for various courts and entities.Process paperwork to open new client files; create files in the Firm???s record management system; maintain current files and organize files before processing for off-site storage.Enter daily timekeeping for assignments.Edit monthly billing memoranda and create transmittal letters.Prepare expense reports for assignments.Maintain current address/telephone listing of clients for each assignment, ensuring they are properly entered into the Firms client relationship management system.
