Consilio/LOD ELS Talent Solutions is seeking a Paralegal or Senior Paralegal, Washington DCCandidates MUST live commutable distance to Washington DC and work on-site, in the office 3 days a week. No exceptions. A highly respected litigation law firm is seeking a Paralegal/Senior Paralegal.This role directly supports attorneys with filing vaccine personal injury claims and assisting with litigation related to injuries resulting from vaccines.Hybrid remote 3 days in office/2 remoteExcellent work/life balance.The firm seeks to hire a polished, well-organized, and highly professional paralegal to provide direct litigation support to our team of litigators.Serve alongside talented paralegals and lawyers within a purpose-driven firm to provide direct and substantive support to attorneys and clients.The ideal candidate should possess a strong work ethic along with exceptional written and oral communication skills, with a desire to become a critical part of an ever-growing team.Candidates must have prior law firm experience supporting litigation attorneys, AmLaw 100 or AmLaw 200 prior experience preferred.The firm currently has 7 attorneys and 4 paralegals and is growing.Duties and Responsibilities:Ability to organize and maintain multiple case and research filesAssisting attorneys with trial and hearing preparationCoordinating with clients and attorneys to obtain and prepare case-related evidenceEvaluating evidence and facts and preparing cases for litigationMaintaining up to date details on court decisions and status of claimsMaintaining litigation details with absolute precisionInterfacing with court personnel, clients, and opposing counselDrafting correspondenceAssisting with deposition and hearing preparationPreparing cases for litigationReview and evaluating evidenceRequired: 3+ years of hands-on paralegal litigation experience, must be highly organized, excellent communication skills, strong writing skillsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong organizational skills and attention to detail a mustStrong time management and prioritization skillsAbility to collaborate with a teamExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with standard office programs (Adobe, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to analyze facts and review of evidence to provide substantive input on claimsAbility to coordinate with clients in a professional and courteous mannerMust be able to work a full-time schedule with some flexibility to ensure project needs are met. Highly organized with superior attention to detail with an advanced level of proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel and Adobe. This is an exempt position.
