Ruder Finn is seeking a talented Account Executive to provide support across our healthcare accounts. As an Account Executive in the Healthcare Practice at Ruder Finn, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, helping to manage and execute strategic communications programs for our healthcare clients to drive disease awareness, execute social and influencer programs, support data milestones and more. Your role will involve close collaboration with senior leadership and clients to create and execute campaigns that achieve client objectives. If you have a passion for healthcare, love tackling new challenges and working with a team, this role is perfect for you!Key ResponsibilitiesWrite, edit, and proofread high-quality content including press releases, social media and blog posts, pitch letters, fact sheets, speeches, presentations, and client correspondenceDevelop solid understanding of client business and their competitive environments, including business strategy, products and services, key customers and competitorsCreate thumb-stopping social media content and a basic understanding of social media guidance for a variety of platforms (including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and Facebook)Collaborate with studio and creative teams to develop compelling contentConduct media relations efforts, including thorough media monitoring, proactively flagging relevant trends and articles, developing media lists, pulling analysis reports using tools such as Cision, Trendkite, Google Alerts, etc., and conducting media outreachSupport daily interaction with clients and prospects, work collaboratively with team members to achieve client objectives, help develop strategic recommendations, anticipate challenges and ensure deadline and budget are metQualificationsA minimum of 1+ years of experience in Communications or Public Relations preferredBachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field Strong writing, verbal, and presentation skillsPrevious experience within healthcare or pharmaceuticals is preferredWorking knowledge of the MLR process, including proficiency in using platforms such as VeevaBase understanding of data/regulatory processes (e.g., clinical trial phases, FDA approvals)Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight and sometimes conflicting deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Ability to work as a member of a team and take ownership of tasksBenefits and MoreYou will receive a competitive base salary and bonus opportunityYou will also be able to enroll in our Health, Dental, Vision, company paid Life Insurance, Flexible Spending Account, as well as 401k (match) plan.Monthly allowance for cell phone, office equipment, etc.Generous PTO policy with paid maternity/paternity leaveTransit benefitsProfessional learning and development opportunitiesWorkplace flexibilityOn-site and off-site social gatheringsThe anticipated salary range for this position, at the time of posting, is $55,000 - $65,000. The salary of the applicant selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, internal equity, geography, relevant years of experience, certifications, skills, abilities of the selected applicant, and other job-related qualifications.
